The Kansas Association of Elementary
School Principals in association with the National
Elementary Principals Association presents the Kansas
Distinguished Principals award each year to an elementary
principal (k-8) who:
- Is an active
elementary principal.
- Has been
an active elementary principal for at least 5 years.
- Is respected
by students, staff, parents, colleagues and community.
- Assumes an
active role of leadership in his/her community.
- Sets high
expectations for students, staff and school community.
- Maintains
and orderly and purposeful learning environment.
- Is active
in professional organizations.
Nominations are accepted through
April 30 each year.
