Sabetha-Wetmore USD 441 Superintendent Dennis Stones and teacher Carol Spangler receive the 2005 Civic Star Award at the AASA National Conference on Education in San Antonio. The award was given for their partnership with the Daily Bread Foundation and Wenger Manufacturing (a Sabetha and national business) to relieve hunger in Mozambique. The ultimate goal is to make micro-nutrient enhanced food available to people in that country.
