The Kansas Association of School
Administrators in association with the National Association
of School Administrators presents the Kansas Superintendent
of the Year award to a Kansas superintendent who:
- Is creative
in successfully meeting the needs of students in
his or her district.
- Has strong
personal and organizational communication.
- Is constantly
improving his or her administrative knowledge and
skills while providing professional development opportunities
and motivation to others on the educational team.
- Actively
participates in local community activities and understands
regional, national and international issues.
Nomination forms are accepted through
July 30 each year.
